Kids & teens

A place your kids will ask to come back to.

From the nursery to high school, your children will be known by name, taught the Bible by people who care about them, and surrounded by friends who love the Lord.

Your child's first Sunday

No guesswork for parents

  1. Say hello at the door

A greeter will meet you at the main entrance and walk you and your kids to the right rooms.

  2. Meet the teacher

You'll meet your child's teacher and see the classroom before you leave them.

  3. Sunday School at 9:30

A Bible lesson, singing, and a memory verse, taught at your child's level.

  4. Pick up and talk about it

Pick your child up from the same room. Ask them about the lesson on the drive home.

Teens

Students growing into strong, steady Christians

Our teen ministry helps students build their own faith, not just borrow their parents'. They study the Bible together, serve the church and community, and have plenty of fun along the way.

  • Teen Sunday School · Bible teaching that takes their questions seriously
  • Serving · soulwinning, helping at church events, and outreach in Tomah

Safety

Your child's safety matters to us

We know trusting a new church with your children is a big step. Our classes are taught by church members who are known to our pastor, and parents are always welcome to stay with their child, especially on a first visit.

Can I stay with my child the first time?
Of course. Many parents sit in for the first week. Do whatever helps your family feel comfortable.
Do kids stay in the main service?
Sunday School is age-grouped. During the morning worship service, children are welcome to sit with their families. Ask a greeter about nursery options for little ones.
What should my kids wear?
Whatever is comfortable and appropriate for church. Many families dress up, but we'd much rather have your kids here than worry about their clothes.
Is Victory Christian School connected to the church?
Yes. Victory Christian School is a ministry of Tomah Baptist Church, offering Christ-centered education for students.
